Pierre Asselin
Senior Principal, Project Director

Pierre Asselin has been with NFOE since 1988 and became a partner in 2016. He has specialized in school and university rehabilitation and expansion projects within urban, occupied buildings for over a decade. Pierre possesses an in-depth understanding of construction systems and engineering disciplines. He swiftly grasps the unique critical path of each project and establishes key milestones to minimize coordination issues and site conditions. He is involved in every project phase and ensures project quality up to the final acceptance of works.

His recent experience as a project manager includes McGill University's Green Chemistry project and a significant renovation of the Stewart Pavilion at McGill University, with a construction cost of $92 million. The 7-story Stewart Pavilion, built in 1965 with a precast concrete envelope, has undergone a complete rehabilitation of its envelope and a full interior renovation, bringing it up to modern standards. This pavilion will house the biology and psychology departments.
