Masa Fukushima graduated from the Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan in 1968 with a Bachelor in Architecture, after which he pursued postgraduate studies in Urban Planning at the same institution. He subsequently obtained a Masters degree in Architecture in 1975 from McGill University. He joined Marshall Merrett Stahl Elliott (a predecessor firm of NFOE) in 1971 and became a partner of the firm in 1986. As the person in charge of the design group within the firm he provides leadership, wisdom and creativity to influence all of the firm's design work. With over 46 years of design experience on a multitude of projects, he's developed a highly refined sensibility for design. His vast experience combined with his talent, vision and serenity, inspires and guides the firm's design efforts.
