Primary and Secondary Education
Education is in our DNA
Throughout its rich history, NFOE has always considered education projects as an integral part of its identity. Seventy years later, we’ve delivered many acclaimed projects, particularly during the growth boom of the 1960s and 1970s.
For the past decade, NFOE has taken on multiple design, construction, renovation and expansion projects in the education field. Numerous school boards have decided to trust our extensive experience in this field.
More recently, in keeping with our vocation for designing specialized science buildings, we carried out several major projects related to academic research, combining the expertise in two of our most high-profile industries.
An unparalleled approach
NFOE has always set itself apart in education projects because of its proven approach. User comfort and well-being will also be our primary concern, first for the pupils and then for the teachers and school staff members.
But that’s not all. Our overall vision includes the functional response to basic requirements, environmentally conscious incorporation, the design of wide, bright spaces that foster discussion, the adaptability of facilities to quickly changing programs and teaching methods as well as the pursuit for high-end space.
By following these basic principles, NFOE has built a reputation as a leader in the architectural design of infrastructure dedicated to primary and secondary education.
Awards that motivate us
The numerous distinctions and excellence awards we’ve received in recent years, particularly for the Barclay School in Montréal and the St-Viateur-Clotilde-Raymond School in Saint-Rémi, have confirmed our choices.
We’re looking forward to the future, confident in our approach while remaining attentive to our clients’ always changing needs. Because children are our future, we’re proud to help them grow and learn by giving them access to environments that live up to our collective hopes.
