University of Quebec in Montreal (UQÀM) proposes a new pavilion for the School of Management Sciences (ESG) to accommodate administrative units and postgraduate courses like MBA, MGP, and MFA. This pavilion, opposite the J. A-DeSève pavilion, will create a dedicated sub-campus for ESG, in collaboration with the School of Fashion.
Pavilion C, the project's centerpiece, will redevelop the historic Alexandra school building, constructed in 1910 and later the CLSC des Faubourgs. Covering an area of over 7,000 m2, the pavilion's design involves an upward extension and creative use of the original courtyard. This expansion ensures minimal impact on neighboring residential areas and allows for the inclusion of a rooftop terrace, fostering interaction among students and offering a tranquil space for contemplation.
UQÀM's vision for this project emphasizes synergy and innovation, as Pavilion C becomes a nexus of learning and collaboration within the field of management sciences, driving academic excellence and interdisciplinary engagement.
